• Practice Requirements:

Please remove any existing nail extensions and gel polish before attending, as participants will practice on each other or on yourselves during the course.

• Equipment & Kits:

Purchasing a kit is not required. All necessary products will be provided during the session. 

• Insurance Requirements:

For insurance purposes, you must use the same branded products (Halo) taught in this course when performing treatments on clients.

To achieve the best results with Halo products, it is essential to cure the product using a Halo UV/LED Nail Lamp. Our lamps are specifically designed to emit light within the 450-495 nanometre range, as tested by Pure Nails on Halo products. This range ensures proper curing of the gel polish, creating a strong bond with the natural nail.

Using a different brand’s lamp may affect the effectiveness of the curing process, leading to incomplete curing and a weaker bond. If the product is not fully cured, it can remain soft, trapping moisture and bacteria, which increases the risk of infection.

By curing Halo products with the Halo Nail UV Lamp, you ensure a durable, smooth finish while reducing the risk of infection and promoting the health of the nail.
